Adaptive practice, delivered the same way the real test works.
Numeracy, Reading, Conventions of Language, and AI-marked Writing — 10 practice tests per domain, each one adjusting to your child's answers the way NAPLAN's own multistage design does.
Here's exactly what shows up after a test
Screen for screen — one column per domain, laid out exactly as it appears in the app. Try both toggles.
There's more inside
A few more real screens from inside a NAPLAN account — swipe through to see what happens after a test.
This is what's waiting after the first practice test.
Register InterestHow the adaptive testing actually works
Straight from the app's own "How adaptive tests work" panel — no simplification, this is what parents and students see.
- Your child starts with a balanced set of questions (Testlet A).
- Their score determines whether the next set is easier or harder — the same multistage design NAPLAN itself uses.
- After both sets, they receive a proficiency level — the same 4-level system ACARA has used since 2023: Needs Additional Support, Developing, Strong, or Exceeding.
- Year 5 NAPLAN reports on bands 3–8, with Band 4 as the national minimum standard. Year 3 reports on bands 1–6, with Band 2 as the minimum standard.
- Numeracy answers include a full worked solution, not just a correct/incorrect mark.
- Each of the 10 attempts per domain uses a fresh set of questions.
The same 4-level scale NAPLAN reports use
No invented percentile or ranking claims — this is the official ACARA 2023+ reporting language, applied consistently across every test.
